PE4U Terms and Conditions
Effective March 31, 2007, we will only allow new members from the following countries:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, New Zealand, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States.
If your country is NOT listed above; DO NOT JOIN. Your account will be deleted.
Effective March 31, 2007 we will no longer allow proxy IPs or AOL.
Effective January 1, 2006 we will no longer accept new members from China (Hong Kong is considered China) or India. If you are from China or India and you sign up ON or AFTER January 1, 2006, your account will be deleted. No exceptions. Current members from China and India may redeem their earnings for ADS ONLY and MUST remain in compliance with our terms.
Effective August 26, 2005, ALL current and new members from Poland and Vietnam may redeem earnings for ADS ONLY. No exceptions.
Effective January 1, 2006 all current and new members from Lithuania may redeem earnings for ADS ONLY.
Effective June 25, 2006, ALL current and new members from Thailand, Iran, Iraq and Singapore may redeem earnings for ADS ONLY.
We reserve the right to refuse and/or delete ANY account we feel necessary. We will NOT tolerate cheating of ANY kind nor will we tolerate vulgar language, threatening or abusive emails. If you see fit to send us nasty emails or cheat - your account will be deleted and you will be banned from this site permanently. For further information, please see "Cheating" below.
By signing up and actively using the PE4U program you agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. PE4U may, at any time, choose to edit, add and/or delete portions of this agreement and impose changes without prior notification of its members. Members will be informed of any and all changes to this policy via an email to their primary contact email address provided upon signing up with PE4U. If any modification is unacceptable to you, your only recourse is to terminate this agreement. Should you choose to terminate this agreement by canceling your account, you forfeit all earnings and referrals in doing so. Your continued participation in the PE4U program following our posting of a change in policy notice or new agreement on our site will constitute binding acceptance to the change.
Responsibility of Members:
You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Minors must have parental consent to participate in this program. Our program is open to both US and International members (please see list of unallowed countries above) and is void where prohibited by local governing laws.
You agree to and must use your own name and email address in the sign-up process and may not assume a false identity. You may not signup multiple times with different email addresses. Your computer must not be shared with another individual that has an existing PE4U account. Your payout account must not be shared with another individual that has an existing PE4U account and must be in YOUR name. You may share the same home address as another member ONLY if you first contact us for approval.
You will use your email address or User ID / password combination to access your account, it is your responsibility to keep this information confidential, you may change this information by logging into your PE4U account and press the user information/profile link located in your Member's Menu. Any solicitation of advertisers for a confirmation email for purposes of receiving credit in your account will be grounds for immediate termination.
You are solely responsible for any and all use of your PE4U account including authorization by you to any third party individual who may use your account. Should any instances of fraud, system abuse, or any type of activity deemed to be inappropriate or illegal by PE4U be detected it may result in member termination and possible legal action. Use of "SQUID" is prohibited. If your IP registers as "SQUID" your account may be deleted.
You agree to receive email advertising from PE4U, limited to no more than one hundred (100) per day. In the event your email account on file becomes closed or blocked or bounces, your account will be placed on "inbox only" mail delivery. If this happens, you MUST either change your email address OR use the "inbox only" option. If your emails continue to bounce ten (10) or more consecutive times, your account will be deleted and you will forfeit all prior earnings and referrals.
You MUST be able to read English to participate in our program. "English Tests" are sent on a regular basis. Failure of three (3) English Tests will result in account deletion and forfeiture of all earnings and referrals. ALL advertisements shall be written in English for English speaking sites only. No other languages will be accepted. If you send us an email that is clearly written with the aid of a translation program, your account will be deleted.
If you click the "I Don't Read English" or "Delete Me, I Cheat" or "I Use Cheat Software" boxes in the Interests section, your account WILL be DELETED. If you select "Donate My Earnings", your earnings will be donated to our Contest PTC section - no refunds.
PE4U has a "Zero Tolerance" stand on cheating. If you are caught cheating in any way, your account will be deleted and you will forfeit all earnings and referrals.
Any member found to have "gibberrish" in the user info (ie., First Name: ghdkl etc) will have their account deleted and forfeit all earnings and referrals. Any member sending the administration gibberish emails or submitting blatantly false advertising requests will have their account deleted and forfeit all earnings and referrals.
Relationship of the Parties:
You and PE4U are independent contractors, and nothing in this Agreement creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative or employment relationship between you and PE4U. You understand that you do not have authority to make or accept any offers or make any representations on behalf of PE4U. You may not make any statement, whether on your site or otherwise, that would contradict anything in this section. You are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any taxes for money earned while using the PE4U program.
Limitation of Liability:
PE4U will not be liable for lost profits, lost business opportunities, or any other indirect, special, punitive, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or related to this Agreement or PE4U program, even if PE4U has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Furthermore, PE4U aggregate liability arising under this Agreement will not exceed the amount of the total fees paid or payable to you under this Agreement. The provisions of this Section survive termination or expiration of the Agreement.
Activity Requirements:
In the event that you do not click at least one link for a period of more than thirty (30) days, your account will be terminated for inactivity and you will forfeit all earnings and referrals.
Members must click a MINIMUM of 100 links per month, (at least) 50 of which should be email links in order to request and receive payout or to request a redemption.
PTP Activity Requirements: You will STILL be REQUIRED to maintain activity other than PTP earnings. Members MUST have at least 20% in personal earnings vs. PTP earnings to cashout / redeem. This will not be difficult, we just do NOT wish to have people sign up for our program ONLY to use the PTP feature, we are a Paid-To-Read site with an added bonus of PTP, not the other way around. Members who choose to ignore the activity requirements are subject to suspension of PTP privileges.
Payments:
Members may earn by receiving and READING paid-emails and visiting the advertiser websites after they have entered their member ID in the area on the website provided by PE4U. Blind-Clicking is cheating and your account will be deleted if you are deemed to be blind-clicking.
Members may earn some extra income by referring new members to the PE4U program. Members will earn 13% of their direct referrals cash earnings. Members must be 25% as active as the members on your downline. You will NOT be credited if you have not logged in to your account in thirty (30) days.
PE4U will pay members when their balance reaches $3.00 and they request payment. Members' accounts MUST be in good standing and active (please see Activity Requirements) to receive payout. Payments will be made within thirty (30) days or a reasonable time after. Currently payments are being sent out with masspay twice per month and for exactly $3 per payout. So currently each member may get paid up to $6 per month.
You will NOT be paid if you have not been active in the thirty (30) days prior to payout eligibility, this applies to Upgraded Members also (please see Activity Requirements). You will NOT be paid if your account is on vacation. You will NOT be paid if you have clicked a cheat link in the last thirty (30) days. If you have requested payout and you fall into any of the above listed categories, your request will be canceled.
Members will be paid via Paypal (no Fee).
Members are responsible for providing correct payment information. PE4U will not be held responsible for payments sent to inaccurate email addressesas the member is 100% responsible for having provided the payment information on the payout request form. If we cannot process your payout due to inaccurate account information or payment processor limitations on your account, your request will be canceled.
Advertising:
PE4U does not accept advertising for Adult, Illegal, Gambling, MLM, HYIP, Randomizers, sites that promote or encourage racism or "hate", or Non-English language sites. We reserve the right to refuse to advertise sites that are clearly unsustainable as shown by their site information as well as advertise sites with webmasters who have clearly used unethical business practices. Any Member/Advertiser who purchases and/or redeems for an ad for any non-allowed advertisement - will forfeit the amount of redemption or payment. We do NOT issue refunds.
We do NOT change ads once they have been processed. The member/advertiser is responsible to submit proper links for their advertising request. We will not change your links for ANY reason except the site being advertised has gone out of business.
Spam:
You may not promote your referral links through unsolicited emailing (i.e. SPAMMING), newsgroup postings, or any other method of mass communication. Failure to comply will result in immediate termination of your membership with PE4U and may result in legal prosecution. PE4U strictly enforces anti-spamming laws. Spamming is a federal crime. Any member caught spamming will not only have their account terminated immediately and lose any past, present and future earnings, but shall also be held liable for Spamming as we shall cooperate with any authorities and investigations that may arise from the Spamming incident. PE4U may charge up to $5 per spam email sent. Multiple signups shall be grounds for immediate termination of all involved accounts. Signing up multiple times from the same computer also constitutes fraud. PE4U will file charges for recovery of any earnings received from multiple signups. If you report us for spam after you have signed up using our DOUBLE OPT IN program, your account will be deleted and you will be banned from PE4U.
Cheating:
If you are caught using ANY kind of "cheating" software; ie., mass sign-up software or link grabbing software, YOU WILL BE DELETED!! you will forfeit all prior earnings and referrals.
If you click the: "I Cheat" "Delete Me", "I Don't Read English" or "I use cheat software" boxes in the Interests Section, your account WILL be DELETED and you will forfeit all prior earnings and referrals.
If you click three (3) or more Cheat Links or Cheat Banners, your account WILL be DELETED and you will forfeit all prior earnings and referrals. Our Cheat Links are ALL clearly marked and there is NO excuse for clicking on more than three.
If you Search from a disallowed Country, your account WILL be DELETED and you will forfeit all prior earnings and referrals. Only members from the following countries may perform searches: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States.
If your account was deleted for cheating, you will NOT be allowed to re-join our program. If you do re-join, we will find your account and delete it as well.
Bottom line, I WILL NOT TOLERATE cheating of ANY kind!
